An update from Beavers

Date: 21st Jul 2023 Author: Scout Websites

To mark the start of the summer holidays our Beavers took part in a sleepover in our hall. Arriving on Friday evening, they pitched their tents and got ready for the night. Once they were settled for the night, it was time to turn out the lights and watch a movie, and enjoy a sweet or two! Before long it was bedtime. Getting up bright and early on Saturday morning they packed their sleeping bags up and headed for breakfast. After cleanup was done, they packed their tents away, and took part in some mini olympics and team games held on the School field. The afternoon was filled with necker making as a little keepsake to remember their first camp.

Everyone had a fantastic time!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
