Christmas Tree Recycling Service

Once the decorations are packed away and the festive season is over, we’re here to help with one last Christmas job – saying goodbye to your tree.

Each year, on the first Saturday after Twelfth Night, Stockton on the Forest Scouts offer a Christmas Tree Recycling service for local residents.

For just £8 per tree, our volunteers will come to your doorstep, collect your tree, and take it away to be chipped and recycled. It’s quick, convenient, and environmentally friendly – and at the same time, you’ll be helping to support Scouting in our village.

This isn’t one of our biggest fundraisers, but it provides a steady income that helps keep Scouting affordable and accessible for families, while offering a really useful service to the community.

How it works

  1. Book online – complete our booking form and pay securely in advance.

  2. Leave your tree out – place your Christmas tree outside your property by 9am on the collection day.

  3. We’ll collect and recycle it – our volunteers will come round, pick it up, and make sure it’s turned into wood chips.

Collections are available within our set boundaries – please check the map below to make sure you’re in our area before booking.
