Exciting News: Our Village Telephone Box Has a New Lease on Life! 📚

As some of you may already know, BT had planned to remove the iconic red telephone box from our village. When we heard this, many of us felt it would be a real shame to lose such a familiar and historic part of our local landscape.

Rather than see it disappear, our group came together to explore how we might save it – and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve successfully taken ownership of the telephone box!

But that’s not all. We’re now in the process of transforming it into something the whole village can enjoy: a Community Library!

The idea is simple: a free, accessible space where anyone in the village can take a book, leave a book, or simply browse. Whether you’re into novels, gardening tips, cookbooks, children’s stories, or biographies – we hope there’ll be something for everyone.

Let’s turn this old phone box into something really special for everyone.

Stay tuned for updates!
