Scarecrow Festival 2023

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Scarecrow Festival this year. It has been an amazing weekend, and we have enjoyed seeing so many of you come and take part in our activities.

As a village based charity, the support of our community is vital to keep our group open, and this weekend you came together and helped us achieve that. We would like to say a special thank you to our business partners who came together to support this event; Deans Garden Centre, Focus Fireplaces, Sticky Fingers Nursery, Scoops Ice Cream, The Village Store, and Church View B&B.

As you know there is a friendly best in show competition run over the weekend, and your votes have been counted! The winners were announced at the Scout Hut on Sunday afternoon. Taking third place was Ghost Rider. In joint second place was The Potty People by Deans Garden Centre and The Window Cleaner by The Village Store. Finally in first place was Fireman Sam by Sticky Fingers Nursery.

After the success of this year’s event we are confident that it will be back next year!
